Everyone loves a good mug cake! It’s a quick, easy, delicious way to get in a protein packed treat that still hits your macros. Luckily for all of us, BPN makes a delicious cinnamon roll flavor protein. So I just rolled with that and made a cinnamon roll themed mug cake. It uses almond flour to keep it gluten free and some maple syrup to give it that sweetness that you get from a great batch of cinnamon rolls!

Ingredients
2 tbsp almond flour
1 scoop BPN Cinnamon Roll Protein Powder
½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
3 tbsp almond milk
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp coconut sugar (optional, for topping)
1 tbsp walnuts (optional, for garnish)
Directions
In a bowl whisk together almond flour, protein powder, baking powder, and cinnamon.
Whisk in almond milk and maple syrup until it forms a consistent batter.
Spray the inside of a microwave safe mug with cooking spray. Pour batter into mug.
Microwave for 2-3 minutes, until fully cooked. If you want a caramelized top you can microwave it for a minute, then sprinkle the coconut sugar on top and microwave it the remaining 1-2 minutes.
Remove from microwave and top with walnuts. Enjoy!
