When I’m meal prepping for the week I don’t just make sure I have my lunches ready, I also make sure I’m stocked up on healthy snacks. Protein balls are the perfect, easy snack to make sure I’m staying on top of my nutrition and never letting my snack cravings get the best of me. This recipe highlights the amazing cinnamon roll flavor protein from BPN, while also using dates and honey to sweeten it and oats to bring it all together.

Ingredients
1 cup cashews (roasted, unsalted)
1 cup rolled oats
12 dates, pitted
2 tsp cinnamon
4 scoop BPN Cinnamon Roll flavor protein
3 tbsp almond butter
3 tbsp honey
½ cup powdered sugar
1 scoop BPN Vanilla protein
1-2 tbsp oat milk

For Frosting (optional)
Directions
Place cashews, oats, and cinnamon in a food processor. Blitz until well ground.
Add dates and protein powder. Blitz for another minute, until dates are ground up.
Add almond butter and honey. Blitz again until it forms a consistent texture.
Using your hands roll batter into balls about 1” wide. It’s going to seem really crumbly so you may have to press them together, but as it sets they’ll come together even more.
Place balls on a plate and refrigerate.
In a mixing bowl whisk together powdered sugar and vanilla protein. Add oat milk until it comes together and forms a thick icing. Remove protein balls from the fridge and drizzle icing on top.
Refrigerate until ready to eat. They’ll last for about a week in the fridge, or you can freeze them in a ziploc bag for up to 3 months.
