Coconut Banana Protein Waffles by Dan Churchill

Ingredients
1.5 cups flour
2 scoops BPN Whey Protein
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp cinnamon
2 eggs
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tsp olive oil
Splash of milk
⅓ cup olive oil
2/3 cup maple syrup
⅓ cup coconut milk (cream on top of can)

Directions
Waffle directions
Combine flour, cinnamon, whey protein, salt, baking powder into bowl and whisk.
In a separate bowl combine eggs, olive oil, unsweetened applesauce, milk into a bowl and whisk.
Gradually pour the liquid mixture into the flour and whisk to a ribbon like consistency.
Apply nonstick spray on waffle maker then pour 1 cup of batter into the waffle maker.
Sauce directions
Add olive oil and maple syrup into medium sized pot on low heat till bubbles form.
Add in coconut milk and stir until a caramel color appears.
